The Emirates Travel Store has opened its doors in Accra, situated at Stanbic Heights in Airport City. The inauguration was led by Adil Al Ghaith, Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations at Emirates, with Ghana's Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie, and Minister of Transport, Hon. Joseph Nikpe present. Other guests from the trade and media sectors also attended.

Adil Al Ghaith commented on the store's opening: “For over twenty years, Ghana has been an anchor of our African network, serving as a gateway to West Africa. The introduction of our refreshed retail strategy to Accra demonstrates our ongoing commitment, bringing our ‘Fly Better’ promise to life. The seamless blend of expert consultation and smart, self-service technologies, coupled with the immersive product and destination experiences elevates our customers’ journey.”

The store offers personalized service combined with brand experiences within a 310 m2 space designed like a luxurious lounge featuring Emirates' signature colors and the Ghaf Tree emblem. A highlight is the full-size Emirates A380 Onboard Lounge experience which gives visitors a taste of travel experiences from Dubai.

Innovative features include a 'selfie mirror' for photos against scenic backdrops and self-service kiosks for faster service without long waits. Five customer service counters staffed by consultants provide services such as itinerary planning and ticketing support while ensuring high-standard hospitality.

Emirates has been operating in Ghana since 2004 and has connected over 2 million passengers to destinations worldwide including Canada, India, Australia, Singapore, and Dubai through daily flights operated by Boeing 777 aircraft.
