Lufthansa unveils winter schedule with new US destination for Allegris cabins

Lufthansa Group has released its winter schedule, which includes destinations for Lufthansa's Allegris cabin, now equipped on several Airbus A350-900 aircraft. The network spans eight destinations during the upcoming winter season, with a new addition in the United States.

Dieter Vranckx, Chief Commercial Officer of Lufthansa Group, emphasized the importance of maintaining a “stable, punctual, and reliable flight schedule” during the winter season. He also noted the expansion of the Allegris offering at Lufthansa Airlines as a significant upgrade in the premium segment.

The Allegris cabins are set to operate from Munich Airport to several international destinations including Bengaluru Kempegowda International Airport, Chicago-O’Hare International Airport, Cape Town International Airport, Miami International Airport, Newark Liberty International Airport, New York John F. Kennedy International Airport, Shanghai Pudong International Airport, and Tokyo Haneda Airport.

In addition to Lufthansa’s plans, other airlines within the group are expanding their networks. Austrian Airlines will increase flights from Vienna to Bangkok and switch airports in Milan. Brussels Airlines is focusing on expanding in Africa while Discover Airlines will fly directly to Seychelles and other leisure destinations. SWISS will add more frequencies from Zurich to Kraków.

Eurowings is focusing on expanding its presence in the Middle East with new routes from Berlin to Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Additional flights will also be offered from Hannover and Stuttgart to Dubai and Jeddah respectively.
