Delta Air Lines and the Italian fashion brand Missoni are expanding their collaboration to enhance the in-flight experience for passengers. This year, they will introduce a new Delta One collection that includes a specially designed Missoni bedding set and a range of amenities such as an updated amenity kit, custom socks, slippers, and an eye mask.

Mauricio Parise, V.P. of Brand Experience at Delta, stated, "In travel, every moment matters – not just where you’re going, but how you get there." He emphasized the airline's commitment to creating a comfortable in-flight environment with Missoni's designs. Alberto Caliri, Missoni Creative Director, noted that their new amenity kit embraces the brand's signature artistry.

The Delta One bedding set will feature a duvet and sleeping pillow with Missoni's zigzag design and navy accents. The mattress pad will be available on all Delta One flights by year's end, with additional memory foam cuddle pillows introduced for long-haul flights.

Delta plans to launch its upgraded Missoni branded slippers later this year. The refreshed amenity kits will reflect sky colors with Missoni’s textured zigzag pattern and celebrate Delta’s 100-year flying heritage.

The kits will include items like crew-length socks, an eye mask with coordinated colors, an upgraded pen with metal accents and branding from Delta One, Grown Alchemist skincare products in aluminum tubes, a bamboo toothbrush with Marvis toothpaste, and earplugs.

Parise explained that customer feedback plays a crucial role in decision-making at Delta: “Through our research, we know that sleep is our customers’ top priority when it comes to the onboard experience.” He added that while nothing compares to sleeping at home, Delta aims to offer a luxurious sleep experience similar to high-end hotels during flights.

As part of its centennial celebration this year, Delta reflects on five decades of amenity kits offered to passengers.
