FedEx Corp. has achieved a significant milestone with the recognition of its Global Healthcare Quality Program by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). The program received the CEIV Pharma Corporate Certification at the 34th CNS Partnership Conference, underscoring FedEx's commitment to quality and compliance in pharmaceutical logistics.

Nick Gennari, president of global healthcare and commercial sales, stated, “This certification illustrates FedEx’s unwavering dedication to excellence in pharmaceutical logistics. This pioneering, network-wide approach to quality showcases our commitment to complying with the highest standards in the industry for the transportation and handling of global pharmaceutical products."

The CEIV Pharma Certification establishes high standards for temperature-controlled transport of pharmaceuticals via air cargo. Frederic Leger, IATA’s senior vice president commercial products and services, commented on this achievement: “The pharmaceutical industry relies on air transport for its speed and efficiency... We are pleased to see FedEx Global Healthcare certify additional facilities with CEIV Pharma."

Previously, FedEx had obtained certification for its Memphis and Indianapolis hubs in 2024. The company now adds 15 new facilities across various locations including Cologne, Fort Worth, Frankfurt, and Miami among others. These facilities will be officially certified by May 2025.

FedEx Corp., known for its broad portfolio of services, remains committed to maintaining high ethical standards and aims for carbon-neutral operations by 2040.
