Alain Bellemare, Executive Vice President and President of Delta International, has been appointed as Chairman of the Delta Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Advisory Board. In this new role, he will provide strategic direction and guidance to Delta's commercial MRO business. He will collaborate closely with John Laughter, Chief of Operations and President of Delta TechOps, who will continue leading the business.

"Alain’s extensive experience in aerospace systems, engines and aftermarket services—paired with his strategic acumen and global commercial experience—makes him ideally suited to help guide the continued growth of the Delta MRO," said Ed Bastian, CEO of Delta Air Lines.

Delta TechOps is a $5 billion industry leader in MRO services, supporting both Delta's fleet and hundreds of airline customers worldwide. Bellemare's role as Chairman aims to strengthen market positioning, deepen customer relationships, accelerate long-term growth, and enhance commercial success by leveraging Delta's aircraft maintenance capabilities.

Bellemare brings over 25 years of global aerospace leadership experience. As former President and CEO of Bombardier Inc., he led the company's transformation and oversaw the development of the C-Series aircraft. Prior to that role, he was President and CEO at United Technologies Corporation Propulsion & Aerospace Systems.

Bellemare expressed his enthusiasm for his new responsibilities: "I’m honored to take on this expanded role. Delta TechOps is a world-class operation with talented people, deep technical capabilities and a strong customer foundation. I look forward to partnering with John and the team to help shape the next chapter of growth and commercial success."
