Allegiant Air has launched four new nonstop routes from Portland International Airport (PDX) as part of its significant network expansion. The new routes connect Portland with Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG), Bishop International Airport (FNT), Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FAT), and Indianapolis International Airport (IND).

The airline, known for its ultra-low-cost model, announced this expansion in the fall of 2024. The move is driven by increasing demand and Allegiant's commitment to providing affordable airfare to underserved communities.

Beginning May 22, travelers can book one-way fares as low as $49 USD to Fresno, California. Flights to Cincinnati via Northern Kentucky International Airport start at $79 USD. Similar rates apply for flights to Flint, Michigan, and Indianapolis, Indiana, starting May 23.

Drew Wells, Allegiant's chief commercial officer, emphasized the benefits of connecting more cities: "By connecting more cities, we're making it easier for travelers to visit family and friends, access top leisure destinations, and create new memories. Our research shows that customers increasingly want affordability and convenience when they fly. Our low-cost fares and nonstop flights make Allegiant a top choice for leisure travelers."

Portland International Airport serves a growing metropolitan area with a substantial local customer base. Its strategic location in the Pacific Northwest makes it an attractive hub for Allegiant’s operations.

Gregory Anderson, president and CEO of Allegiant Travel Company, commented on the company's performance: "Team Allegiant executed a successful first quarter, delivering an airline-only operating margin of 9.3 percent... I extend my sincerest appreciation to Team Allegiant for all your efforts."

With headquarters in Las Vegas, Nevada, Allegiant continues to focus on offering low-cost airfare to less-served airports across America.
