Emirates Skywards has strengthened its partnership with Marriott Bonvoy, allowing members to convert Miles to Points and vice versa. This enhancement aims to provide additional rewards for 35 million members globally, facilitating seamless conversions.

The collaboration already allows members to earn double rewards on flights and hotel stays. Members can accrue Skywards Miles alongside Marriott Bonvoy points during stays at participating hotels and earn Marriott Bonvoy points in addition to Skywards Miles when flying with Emirates.

Dr. Nejib Ben Khedher, Divisional Senior Vice President of Emirates Skywards, stated: “Marriott Bonvoy offers one of the most fantastic hotel portfolios in the industry, and as one of the most valued and recognised loyalty programmes in the world – we’re thrilled to take our partnership to the next level.” He added that this new benefit opens up a range of rewards, enabling members to redeem Points towards stays at over 30 hotel brands across more than 10,000 destinations worldwide.

Marriott Bonvoy members also have the option to convert Points into Miles for flights with Emirates. Dr. Khedher expressed pride in their long-standing partnership, emphasizing the delivery of more benefits and travel experiences for members worldwide.

Philip Andreopoulos, Chief Commercial Officer - EMEA at Marriott International commented: “It is great to see our strong partnership with Emirates Skywards expand.” He noted that this expansion brings unique travel experiences and personalized benefits for loyal members globally.

Members can earn twice the rewards by receiving 1 Skywards Mile per USD spent on eligible stays at Marriott Bonvoy hotels and 3 Marriott Bonvoy Points per USD spent when traveling with Emirates. They can convert 3 Marriott Bonvoy Points into 1 Skywards Mile, with a bonus of 5,000 Skywards Miles for every 60,000 points converted.

Starting today, it is possible to convert 3 Skywards Miles into 2 Marriott Bonvoy Points, requiring a minimum conversion of 3,000 Miles. The conversion process involves visiting emirates.com and logging in with credentials before converting.

Emirates Skywards boasts an extensive membership base and was recently recognized at several prestigious awards ceremonies for its innovative offerings.

Terms apply regarding earning double rewards based on member tiers from both loyalty programs. For further details, visit emirates.com/skywards or contact Emirates Public Relations via pr@emirates.com.
