dnata expands inflight retail services with easyJet in Italy

dnata, a prominent global air and travel services provider, has expanded its inflight retail partnership with easyJet to include operations at Milan Linate (LIN) and Rome Fiumicino (FCO) airports in Italy. This development was announced on May 28, 2025.

The new agreement involves dnata's specialist teams managing last-mile logistics, packing, and uplifting easyJet’s onboard retail products, including food and beverage items. They will also handle approximately 40,000 crew meals annually. These services are intended to support easyJet’s expanded operations at its two new Italian bases and enhance the inflight experience for passengers.

Since 2022, dnata has managed easyJet’s inflight retail program across its European network. Their comprehensive solution encompasses retail strategy, product development and sourcing, end-to-end logistics, marketing, crew support, and financial management.

During the financial year 2024-25 alone, dnata Catering & Retail teams uplifted over nine million meals for more than 63,000 flights in the country.
