Eurowings, a subsidiary of the Lufthansa Group, is set to introduce a new business class experience on its medium-haul routes. This autumn, the airline will launch its 'Premium BIZ seat' in the Airbus A320neo aircraft. The new seating arrangement, provided by Italian manufacturer Geven, features adjustable backrests and ergonomic design in a 2x2 layout, offering more comfort and privacy than current industry standards.
The Premium BIZ seat will debut on the Berlin-Dubai route starting November 2025. Eurowings is the first German airline to offer such premium seats in narrow-body aircraft like the Airbus A320neo. Passengers can book these seats from August through Eurowings' website as part of an enhanced option within their BIZclass offerings.
Jens Bischof, CEO of Eurowings, stated: “With our new Premium BIZ seat, we offer business travellers and holidaymakers a completely new level of comfort on medium-haul flights. More privacy and a significantly enhanced feel-good atmosphere make longer flights noticeably more pleasant. We are thus setting a new standard in our market segment and clearly positioning Eurowings as Europe's leading value airline.”
