Ethiopian Airlines has announced a double bonus miles promotion for flights between Lagos and any of its destinations. The offer is valid for bookings made between May 23 and August 31, 2025, for travel from July 1 to August 31, 2025, according to a post on X.

The airline has maintained a significant presence in Nigeria, with Lagos serving as a key hub for its West African operations. Ethiopian Airlines offers daily flights between Lagos and Addis Ababa, providing connections to its extensive global network. According to the airline's official website, it has been instrumental in facilitating travel and trade between Nigeria and various international destinations.

The double bonus miles promotion applies to ShebaMiles members who book flights during the sales period of May 23 to August 31, 2025. Travel must occur between July 1 and August 31, 2025, to qualify for the bonus miles. According to the airline's official announcement on X, this offer aims to reward loyal customers and encourage travel during the summer months.

In addition to the bonus miles promotion, Ethiopian Airlines is increasing its flight frequency from Lagos to Addis Ababa starting July 1, 2025. The airline will operate 14 weekly flights, up from the previous seven, enhancing connectivity for passengers traveling to various destinations across Africa, Asia, and beyond. According to the airline's enhanced routes page, this expansion aims to provide more flexibility and convenience for travelers.

Ethiopian Airlines is the flag carrier of Ethiopia and Africa's largest airline in terms of passengers carried, destinations served, fleet size, and revenue. The airline operates a fleet of over 150 aircraft serving more than 120 international destinations across five continents.
