Ethiopian Airlines has announced the commencement of a new passenger service to Sharjah, UAE. The route will operate four times weekly, providing convenient travel options between Sharjah and Ethiopian Airlines' extensive global network. This service is expected to foster trade, tourism, and cultural exchange between Africa and the Middle East.

The CEO of Ethiopian Airlines Group, Mr. Mesfin Tasew, commented on the launch: “We are truly delighted to connect our passengers to an additional getaway in the UAE with our new flights to Sharjah. We have been connecting the UAE and Africa for nearly five decades now and the new service will help boost the investment, tourism, diplomatic and socioeconomic bonds between the two regions.”

Previously offering cargo services to Sharjah—a city known for its rich history and vibrant business environment—Ethiopian Airlines now provides a travel option for both business and leisure travelers with this new passenger flight. The airline promises a seamless journey supported by state-of-the-art facilities and customer service.
