FedEx has participated in an urban forest project as part of its environmental initiatives. The company joined the "Bee Forest Campaign," organized by the Korea Green Foundation, to mark Environment Day. This event took place on May 31 at Noeul Park in Mapo-gu, Seoul, where over 30 FedEx employees and their families planted more than 90 honey trees.

This activity is part of FedEx's global social contribution program, "FedEx Cares." It aims to preserve urban ecosystems and raise environmental awareness within local communities. Through this initiative, FedEx demonstrates its commitment to a sustainable future.

The Bee Forest Campaign was designed to address climate change issues such as the decline in bee populations and key honey trees. By planting these trees, FedEx hopes to stabilize bee ecosystems and enhance urban forests' capacity for reducing fine dust and carbon sequestration.

Park Won-bin, Managing Director of FedEx Korea, stated that "the campaign was a meaningful experience that showed how small actions for our community and environment can lead to significant changes." He added that FedEx would continue volunteering efforts for the communities where they live and work while striving to reduce their environmental footprint across operations.

Additionally, earlier this year, FedEx collaborated with Beautiful Store Foundation to support those in welfare blind spots by donating clothing, toys, blankets, electronics, books, and other essentials.
