Seoul, South Korea – Federal Express Corporation (FedEx), a major express transportation company, collaborated with the 'Let's Bee Forest' campaign by the Korea Green Foundation. This urban reforestation initiative was part of World Environment Day celebrations and saw active participation from FedEx team members and their families.

On May 31, 2025, more than 30 FedEx volunteers gathered at Noeul Park in Haneul-gongwon-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul to plant 90 nectar-producing trees. This effort was part of FedEx Cares, the company's global community engagement program. The initiative underscores FedEx's commitment to fostering sustainable communities and promoting local conservation efforts. It also aims to enhance urban ecosystem conservation and increase environmental awareness within the local community.

The 'Let's Bee Forest' campaign addresses the decline in bee populations and the reduction of nectar-producing food sources due to climate change. By planting these trees, the campaign seeks to stabilize bee populations while expanding urban green spaces that help reduce particulate matter and remove carbon from the atmosphere.

"Participating in this campaign alongside our employees and their families was a truly rewarding experience. It not only strengthened family connections but also demonstrated how small, collective actions can drive meaningful change in our communities and environment," said Wonbin Park, managing director of FedEx Korea. "FedEx remains committed to fostering a sustainable future through volunteerism in the places where we live and work, as well as what we do within our own operations to reduce our company’s environmental footprint."

FedEx continues various community engagement programs in Korea. Earlier this year, FedEx team members donated essential supplies such as clothes, toys, blankets, electronics, and books to support those in need through collaboration with the Beautiful Store.
