Emirates has announced the launch of four weekly flights to Da Nang, marking its third destination in Vietnam. The announcement was made on the social media platform X.

According to Emirates, the new service to Da Nang operates four times a week via Bangkok using a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. This aircraft is configured with 35 Business Class and 368 Economy Class seats. Da Nang joins Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City as part of Emirates' Vietnamese destinations, expanding the airline's Southeast Asia network to 23 locations. The route aims to enhance connectivity for both leisure and business travelers between central Vietnam and key global markets.

As reported by Tuoi Tre News, the inaugural flight EK370 landed at Da Nang International Airport on June 2, 2025. It carried 333 passengers and was welcomed with a water cannon salute and a ceremony attended by local officials. The service is expected to bolster Da Nang’s position as a regional financial and logistics hub, aligning with the city’s development goals. The route operates on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, with departures from Dubai at 9:00 AM and arrivals in Da Nang at 9:15 PM local time.

According to Travel and Tour World, the new route is anticipated to significantly boost tourism and trade in Da Nang by providing direct access to Emirates’ extensive network of over 140 destinations worldwide. Local authorities believe this connection will attract more international visitors and investors, enhancing the city’s global presence. The service is also expected to facilitate cultural exchange and economic growth in the region.

Emirates, established in 1985 and based in Dubai, is one of the world’s largest international airlines. It operates over 3,600 weekly flights to more than 150 destinations across six continents. The airline is renowned for its commitment to quality service, modern fleet, and global connectivity. Emirates continues to expand its network by focusing on strategic routes that support both tourism and economic development.
