Brazilians have a rich tradition of celebrating festivals throughout the year, offering vibrant displays of local culture, music, and dance. While Carnival remains the most famous festival in Brazil, other events provide unique cultural experiences across the country. Delta Air Lines has facilitated travel to these festivities by providing convenient routes from the United States.

One such celebration is Festa Junina, held nationwide in June. This festival is known for its colorful decorations and traditional foods like quentão and canjica. The largest celebrations take place in Campina Grande and Caruaru, drawing crowds with their concerts and dances.

The Feast of the Divine marks another significant event, celebrated 50 days after Easter. It features processions and reenactments that highlight Brazil's religious traditions. Pirenópolis is particularly noted for its dramatic Cavalhadas performance during this time.

In late June, Parintins hosts a folklore festival centered around a local legend involving an ox's resurrection. This event sees two teams competing through performances that incorporate music and dance.

Finally, Blumenau’s Oktoberfest in October pays homage to German heritage with parades and traditional Bavarian activities. It stands out as one of Brazil's major cultural events influenced by immigration patterns from Germany.

Delta provides flights from Atlanta and New York-JFK to São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, with connections via LATAM to various festival locations within Brazil.

"These events...showcase the traditions, spirituality, folklore, and diverse peoples that make up Brazil’s vibrant cultural tapestry," highlighting the country's rich cultural diversity.
