Shane Tackett Executive Vice President Finance & Chief Financial Officer | Alaska Airlines

Alaska Airlines has announced an expansion of its fresh meal options for passengers in the Main Cabin. The airline is now offering its popular Fruit & Cheese Platter and Jetsetter’s Jam on flights as short as 670 miles. This move is part of Alaska's efforts to enhance inflight dining by providing more pre-order choices than any other U.S. airline.

Mark Krolick, Managing Director of Inflight Guest Products at Alaska Airlines, stated, “For over a decade, our Signature Fruit & Cheese Platter has been the most requested and beloved offering on board. We’re thrilled to continue delivering what our guests love and what Alaska is known for."

The Fruit & Cheese Platter features five pieces of cheese from Washington and Oregon, including brie and Tillamook’s Sharp Cheddar, along with crackers, apple slices, grapes, and a chocolate truffle by Maeve Chocolatier. It accounts for nearly 40% of all fresh food sales.
