Air France, the flag carrier of France and part of the Air France-KLM group, operates a fleet that includes 63 Boeing 777s. Among these are 18 Boeing 777-200ERs, which feature seating configurations with business, premium economy, and economy classes. These aircraft are scheduled to be replaced by Airbus A350-900s in the future.

The airline utilizes its Boeing 777-200ERs for long-haul routes to various destinations including the United States and India. Notably, one domestic route reaches South America. According to Cirium data, here are some of Air France's most frequent routes using the Boeing 777-200ER in June.

Detroit Metro Airport in Michigan sees daily flights from Paris Charles De Gaulle (CDG), primarily operated by the Boeing 777-200ER. Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport is a significant hub for Delta Air Lines and served over 33 million passengers in 2024.

Raleigh-Durham International Airport also has daily connections with Paris-CDG via Air France's Boeing 777-200ERs and Boeing 787 Dreamliners. In 2024, Raleigh-Durham served over 15 million passengers.

Flights between Paris and Cayenne in French Guiana occur regularly as well. French Guiana is an overseas department of France located on the northern coast of South America.

Air France also operates flights from Paris-CDG to Los Angeles International Airport using various aircraft types including the Boeing 777-200ER. LAX handled approximately 77 million passengers in 2024.

Another major route is from Paris-CDG to New Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport, India's busiest airport with around 80 million passengers annually. The route is also serviced by Air India using its Boeing 787 Dreamliners.

Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport is another destination for Air France's Boeing 777-200ERs from Paris-CDG. Bengaluru is India's third-busiest airport with significant international connectivity.

The busiest route for Air France's Boeing 777-200ER fleet is between Paris-CDG and Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The latter was the world's busiest airport by passenger numbers in 2024.

Delta Air Lines competes on several of these routes with its own fleet including Airbus A330s and A350s but does not operate any Boeing 777 aircraft.
