Reagan National Airport halts operations for Trump's birthday military parade

The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) stated, "To accommodate aircraft flyovers along the parade route, followed by a fireworks display, the Federal Aviation Administration is expected to suspend airline operations at DCA – affecting scheduled flights. Customers with flight reservations for the evening of June 14 should check the status of their flights directly with their airline."

Thousands are expected to attend this parade honoring military personnel. Reuters reports that it will include 6,500 troops, 150 vehicles, and 50 aircraft such as Apache, Black Hawk, Chinook helicopters, a World War II-era B-25 bomber, and a P-51 Mustang.
