Airlines frequently adjust their routes due to various factors, including operational restrictions and financial considerations. This month, several US-Europe flights have been canceled, primarily due to operational constraints.

Seven airlines have cut five routes that were active last month. American Airlines is particularly affected due to issues with its Boeing 787 fleet. These changes span across the United States, from New York's JFK Airport to Florida's Melbourne International Airport. Some of these flights were charter services or seasonal operations.

The suspended routes include LOT Polish Airlines' Budapest to New York-JFK service, which was a charter flight discontinued in September 2022. KLM has suspended its Amsterdam to Miami route due to seasonality, typically ending this service in March. Arkia Israeli Airlines temporarily operated via Athens for its Tel Aviv-New York route but has since adjusted this operation.

Air France's Nice to Los Angeles route was a charter service for events like the Monaco Grand Prix and Cannes Film Festival. American Airlines has suspended its Paris Charles de Gaulle to Miami and Frankfurt to Dallas/Fort Worth routes due to Boeing 787 delivery delays.

TUI Airways will not operate the Manchester to Melbourne-Orlando route this year, though it continues other UK departures.

American Airlines' Boeing 787 issues have forced adjustments in its long-haul network, impacting transatlantic flights significantly. The airline had previously announced changes affecting two Paris routes in December and added more adjustments in January.

Arkia Israeli Airlines made temporary changes involving an Athens stopover for its Tel Aviv-New York service after ending a lease agreement with Iberojet. It now collaborates with Neos Air and GullivAir for aircraft needs.
