Air Canada has 25 Embraer 175 jets, operated by Jazz Aviation, a regional airline based at Halifax Stanfield International Airport in Nova Scotia. These aircraft are used under the Air Canada Express brand and for Jazz Charters. The E175 is a regional jet seating 88 passengers with a range of up to 2,200 nautical miles.

Jazz Aviation operates several routes using the E175, focusing on short-haul flights. Cirium data compiled for June 2025 highlights seven of the shortest routes ranging from 193 to 323 miles.

The shortest route is between Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and Toronto Pearson International Airport, covering an average distance of 193 miles. This route will see Jazz Aviation flying twice daily with plans for 68 flights in May 2025.

The second route connects Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport to Toronto Pearson International Airport. This journey is slightly longer than the Cleveland-Toronto flight at over 214 miles but will have fewer operations in June 2025 with only 38 planned flights.

A third short route links Pittsburgh International Airport to Toronto Pearson International Airport, covering approximately 222 miles. Jazz Aviation plans to operate this service 55 times in June.

Boston Logan International Airport and Montréal–Trudeau International Airport represent one of the highest capacity routes at a distance of about 254 miles with plans for around 80 flights in June.

Another notable route runs from John Glenn Columbus International Airport to Toronto Pearson International Airport spanning over just more than 300 miles, served daily by an E175 flight.

A domestic flight between Toronto Pearson and Montréal–Trudeau airports appears as an outlier on this list due to its singular outbound direction scheduled only once during June.

Finally, LaGuardia Airport connects with Montréal–Trudeau over a span of roughly 323 miles being the longest listed here yet still considered short-haul aviation-wise compared internationally across similar operations within North America under these specific circumstances where Air Canada's market share remains significant among non-US airlines serving New York City's busy terminals consistently
