Air Canada is utilizing its fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft for several long domestic and regional international routes in June 2025. The airline operates 21 Airbus A320-200s with three different layouts, and plans to retrofit eight of these by the end of the year. Air Canada Rouge, a subsidiary, operates an additional five A320-200s.

The longest route on Air Canada's schedule using the A320 is from Toronto Pearson International Airport to San Francisco International Airport, covering approximately 2,260 miles. This route will have 44 flights in June, offering a total of 6,424 seats and over 14.5 million available seat miles.

Another significant route is from Toronto Pearson to Los Angeles International Airport, averaging 2,176 miles. Air Canada has scheduled 36 outbound and 37 inbound flights for this route in June, providing more than 11 million available seat miles each way.

Air Canada's domestic operations include a busy route between Toronto Pearson and Vancouver International Airport. Although only 12 flights will use the A320 for this route in June, it remains competitive with other airlines like Flair Airlines and WestJet.

The airline also serves Calgary International Airport to Newark Liberty International Airport daily with the A320-200. This route spans over 2,000 miles and offers nearly nine million available seat miles.

For shorter routes over 1,900 miles, Air Canada flies from Yellowknife Airport to Toronto Pearson International Airport twice in June. Additionally, the carrier serves Toronto Pearson to Kelowna International Airport with almost four million available seat miles planned for the month.

In Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport's case, Air Canada will operate three flights using the A320 from Toronto Pearson in June. The rest of the schedule will primarily feature Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.

Air Canada's commitment to its Airbus A320 fleet highlights its strategic approach to managing long-haul routes within North America while maintaining competitive service offerings against other carriers.
