Alaska Airlines has announced its Global Getaways promotion, offering Mileage Plan members up to 50% off award travel to select international destinations when booked by June 30.

International travel demand is rising in 2025 as U.S. travelers resume exploring global destinations, with culinary tourism gaining particular momentum. Alaska Airlines taps into this trend with its latest Global Getaways offer under the theme "Taste the World," urging guests to explore iconic cuisine abroad while leveraging Mileage Plan rewards. According to Alaska Airlines, passengers can indulge in cultural experiences in cities like Bangkok, Buenos Aires, Lisbon, and Naples—each known for distinct local flavors.

According to Alaska Airlines, the Global Getaways deal lets Mileage Plan members redeem miles for flights to select international cities at up to 50% off, including Bangkok, Buenos Aires, Lisbon, Naples, Monterrey, and Tbilisi. Travelers must book by June 30, 2025, for travel between August 1 and November 15, 2025. The airline highlights this as a limited-time summer promotion.
