Koji Shibata CEO of ANAHD | ANA Group

All Nippon Airways (ANA) has confirmed an order for 27 Airbus A321neo aircraft at the 2025 Paris Air Show. This includes 24 standard A321neos and three long-range A321XLRs. ANA will receive 14 of the standard model, while its low-cost subsidiary, Peach Aviation, will take 10 A321neos and all three A321XLRs. Deliveries are set to begin in the fiscal year 2030.

Koji Shibata, CEO of ANAHD, stated: "We are delighted to have signed the firm order for the introduction of additional A321neo and first A321XLR into our group airlines. We believe that this additional introduction of Airbus aircraft will further deepen our relationship." He emphasized that these new aircraft would enhance passenger service and reduce CO₂ emissions.

Benoît de Saint-Exupéry from Airbus added: "ANA has been a long-standing customer for the A320 Family. The exciting addition of the A321XLR for Peach Aviation further underscores ANA's innovative spirit and trust in the A320 Family's unrivaled capabilities."

This announcement follows ANA's earlier agreement with Embraer for E190-E2 jets, marking it as Japan's first operator of this type. Both orders are part of ANA’s fleet modernization efforts.

Deliveries will occur over five years despite global supply chain challenges. Saint-Exupéry expressed confidence in meeting delivery commitments, noting Airbus's plans to increase production.

Currently, ANA operates 22 Airbus A321neos with a mix of business and economy class seating. Peach Aviation flies three all-economy configured Airbus A321neo LR variants.
