On June 16, 2025, FedEx announced the commencement of operations at its new North China Regional Headquarters located in the Airport Logistics Park of Shunyi District, Beijing. This facility is strategically positioned near Beijing Capital International Airport and works in tandem with the FedEx Beijing International Gateway Operation Center to enhance logistics efficiency in North China. The headquarters aims to support FedEx's business expansion in the Chinese market.

The new regional headquarters integrates advanced environmental technologies, showcasing FedEx's commitment to improving facility energy efficiency. It features intelligent sensor lighting systems and water-saving faucets to reduce energy and water consumption. With these smart systems' precise control, operational costs are expected to be optimized further. Additionally, a photovoltaic power generation system on the rooftop provides clean renewable energy for green operations. The office space is designed with energy conservation and environmental protection principles, using sustainable materials and ecological designs to create an efficient work environment.

The headquarters embraces technological innovation by building a stable and efficient business system through an intelligent network. It employs a dual-line backbone network ensuring high data transmission reliability and continuous business operations. IoT technology enables real-time connectivity of thousands of devices within the regional headquarters with the global network, enhancing equipment management efficiency and operational transparency. A Wi-Fi 6 network covers the entire building along with a 4K video conferencing system to support global collaboration without geographical limitations. Furthermore, an intelligent machine room monitors building conditions in real-time, ensuring operational safety for stable business functioning.
