Federal Express Corporation, a major player in express transportation, continues its dedication to youth empowerment through the 2025 FedEx/Junior Achievement International Trade Challenge (FedEx/JA ITC). This year's event took place in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, bringing together young entrepreneurs to present their ideas and strategies for global trade. The top three teams were chosen to represent Vietnam at the regional finals in Singapore this August.

The FedEx/JA ITC has been held in Vietnam for thirteen years, inspiring high school students with entrepreneurial skills and business knowledge. In collaboration with JA Vietnam, the program offers workshops and challenges that provide practical experiences in international trade.

This year’s challenge focused on creating eco-friendly solutions to reduce fashion waste from product returns. Students developed innovative market entry strategies for an international market, showcasing their creativity and understanding of sustainable business practices.

The winning teams are:

1. High Heel Hunters: Le Thi Chuc An from Lawrence S.Ting School and Dao Ha My from Ha Long High School For Gifted Students presented "Mirrorly," an AI-powered fashion assistant platform aimed at reducing returns.

2. The Next Dragons: Nguyen Ngoc Khanh from Le Quy Don High School For Gifted Students and Nguyen Anh Khoi from Ha Tinh High School For Gifted Students introduced "Glamour Loop," a fashion rental platform using advanced technology to extend garment life.

3. TOS: Pham Ha Vy and Phan Lan Anh from The Olympia Schools showcased "Revivra," an app promoting circular fashion through virtual try-ons and resale options.

These students will join finalists from other countries such as Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand at the regional finals for idea exchange and collaboration.

Ee-Hui Tan, Managing Director of FedEx Vietnam and Cambodia stated: “Vietnam is home to a vibrant and entrepreneurial generation ready to thrive on the global stage.” Tan added that the program supports young Vietnamese by developing critical business skills and a global mindset.

Since its inception in 2012, over 4,500 Vietnamese students have participated in the FedEx/JA ITC program. Vietnamese teams have previously excelled at regional competitions by securing second place in 2018 and winning first prize in 2023. These successes highlight the impact of FedEx's partnership with JA Vietnam on fostering innovation among young leaders.
