dnata, a global provider of air and travel services, has been awarded a multi-year contract to supply inflight catering for Asiana Airlines at Václav Havel Airport in Prague. The agreement involves dnata's teams preparing approximately 37,000 meals each year for passengers traveling on Asiana Airlines' thrice-weekly flights to Incheon International Airport in South Korea.

Frantisek Sir, Managing Director of dnata Catering Czech Republic, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: “We are proud to welcome Asiana Airlines and to be selected as its exclusive catering partner in Prague. Our experienced team will work closely with the airline to deliver expertly crafted, premium-quality meals that consistently delight passengers on board. We look forward to building a long and successful partnership.”

Including this new contract with Asiana Airlines, dnata now serves 18 airlines in Prague with a workforce of over 210 hospitality professionals. During the financial year 2024-25, dnata Catering supplied more than 3.5 million meals for around 17,000 flights across the Czech Republic.

In addition to expanding its client base, dnata is making strides towards environmental sustainability. The company recently completed a trial of an electric catering truck in Prague as part of its efforts to improve environmental efficiency through renewable energy and waste reduction initiatives. The electric vehicle successfully covered 730 kilometers while servicing 230 flights under challenging weather conditions.

dnata’s catering division is recognized as one of the top inflight hospitality providers globally. With a team of 10,500 professionals worldwide, it produces over 110 million meals annually from more than 60 locations.
