The oneworld alliance is set to expand its membership by welcoming Oman Air as its 15th member at the end of June. This move follows the recent addition of Fiji Airways earlier this year, with Hawaiian Airlines also slated to join in 2026.
Oman Air, the national carrier of Oman, will officially become part of the alliance on June 30, 2025. The integration process has already started, with CEO Con Korfiatis noting that Oman Air flights can be booked using Qantas Points.
Over recent years, Oman Air has been expanding its fleet and destinations. It operates modern aircraft like the Boeing 787 across its long-haul network. The airline plans to use its new membership to resume twice-daily services to London Heathrow Airport by late 2026 and add Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to its route map on July 1.
