Lufthansa has been recognized as the world's most family-friendly airline by the World Airline Awards 2025. This accolade was presented by Skytrax, a market research institute specializing in aviation, during the Paris Air Show. Additionally, Lufthansa's First Class Terminal in Frankfurt received recognition as the world's best First Class Lounge.

Other airlines under the Lufthansa Group also received awards. Austrian Airlines was honored with "Best Airline Staff in Europe," and Eurowings was named "Best Low Cost Airline in Europe." The awards were based on a survey conducted by Skytrax involving 22.3 million passengers from over 100 countries.

Heiko Reitz, Chief Customer Officer of Lufthansa Airlines, expressed satisfaction with these achievements: "Lufthansa attaches great importance to ensuring that all guests on board feel comfortable with us - from Economy to First Class. I am therefore particularly pleased that we have received the award for the world's most family-friendly airline and at the same time for the best First Class lounge."

Lufthansa places emphasis on providing comfort for its youngest passengers by offering specially designed kids' menus and an array of children's toys and entertainment options onboard. These offerings are part of their effort to ensure a pleasant travel experience for families.

In terms of luxury travel, Lufthansa's separate First Class terminal in Frankfurt offers limousine transfers directly to aircraft and personal assistants, further enhancing their premium service offering. Since early this year, new standards have been set with their Allegris First Class on long-haul flights featuring individual suites with customizable seating conditions.

The Suite Plus double cabin offers an exclusive travel experience where two wide seats can transform into a double bed if needed. This unique feature provides maximum exclusivity for solo travelers or couples seeking privacy.

Skytrax has been conducting annual passenger surveys since 1999 to evaluate airlines' services both in-flight and at airports globally. Detailed results from this year's World Airline Awards are available at www.worldairlineawards.com
