easyJet has announced the addition of 22 new and returning routes from 12 UK airports. This expansion enhances its position as the carrier with the most UK flights, largely due to its domestic operations. The new routes supplement the previously announced services to Newcastle, which will commence with the reopening of easyJet's base in March 2026.

The added routes cater primarily to outbound demand for leisure destinations, especially beach locations. The role of easyJet Holidays is expected to be significant in driving success, while Jet2 remains a primary competitor. These developments align with the switch to winter schedules on October 26, as per IATA slot seasons.

Among the new routes, 17 will operate weekly or twice-weekly during their respective periods. Notably, eight out of fifteen routes launching in October and November are currently unserved by other carriers. Some previously served connections are being reintroduced, such as Bristol to Vienna and London Gatwick to Toulouse.

Aberdeen to Paris CDG is among the additions; it was last operated by Air France's regional unit in 2020. EasyJet's twice-weekly service targets point-to-point passengers after booking data revealed there were 13,000 round-trip passengers last year.

Additional services starting in December include Belfast International to Rovaniemi and London Gatwick to Vienna. Several of these airport pairs have been part of easyJet’s network before but will be operated differently this time around.

This expansion reflects easyJet's strategy to strengthen its network while responding to passenger demand for leisure travel destinations during winter months.
