Ryanair, the prominent low-cost Irish airline, is set to operate its Boeing 737 MAX 8-200s across a range of routes this summer. Known for its all-Boeing 737 fleet, Ryanair received its first Boeing 737 MAX 8-200 aircraft in June 2021 and now has over 100 in service. The airline is the largest in Europe and among the largest globally.

According to data from Cirium, an aviation analytics company, Ryanair will conduct numerous flights with its MAX 8s in July 2025. These aircraft will carry a total of 5.9 million seats and contribute significantly to available seat miles (ASMs). The longest scheduled flight for these aircraft is from Kraków Airport in Poland to Tenerife South Airport in the Canary Islands, covering an average distance of 2,437 miles.

The busiest route for Ryanair's MAX 8 fleet is from Faro in Portugal to Dublin, Ireland. This route will see a total of 103 flights each way, carrying over 20,000 seats. Other busy routes include Dublin to Málaga and Dublin to Edinburgh.

In terms of shortest flights, Ryanair's MAX 8s will fly from Alicante–Elche Miguel Hernández Airport in Spain to Ibiza Airport over a distance of just 112 miles. Other short routes include Malta to Catania and Dublin to Liverpool.

Ryanair's current fleet includes around 618 aircraft, primarily Boeing models. The airline plans further expansion with orders for new Boeing aircraft valued at $22 billion. Additionally, Ryanair has considered ordering China's COMAC C919 regional aircraft but faces geopolitical challenges and certification issues.

The airline operates mainly on a point-to-point model rather than a hub-and-spoke system, with key hubs located at Dublin Airport, London Stansted Airport, and Milan Bergamo Airport.
