Federal Express Corporation has announced the launch of its FedEx Surround monitoring and intervention suite in South Africa. This development aims to provide businesses with enhanced shipment visibility, predictive tools, and proactive support.

According to Nitin Navneet Tatiwala, vice president of marketing, customer experience, and air network at FedEx, "The launch of FedEx Surround in South Africa marks a significant milestone in our commitment to delivering smarter, data-driven logistics solutions to our customers." He emphasized that the service offers near real-time visibility and proactive intervention capabilities to help businesses manage risk and improve delivery precision.

FedEx Surround is designed to offer flexibility and control through a global dashboard powered by AI and SenseAware ID sensors. It provides greater value with prioritized boarding, special handling, cold chain support, and recovery interventions. The service also promises peace of mind with 24/7 dedicated support from the Premier Customer Care Team.

The suite is available in three service levels: FedEx Surround Select (M4), which provides foundational access; FedEx Surround Preferred (M3), offering enhanced support; and FedEx Surround Premium (M2), which includes top-tier services such as high priority across the network.
