Ethiopian Airlines announced on X that it is offering travelers from Hanoi extra free baggage on flights to Africa and the Middle East. The offer applies to bookings made by July 31, 2025, for travel between July 10 and 31, 2025.

According to Ethiopian Airlines’ official social media posts, the airline is launching an exclusive baggage promotion for passengers originating from Hanoi. This allows them to carry extra luggage at no additional cost on specific routes to Africa and the Middle East. The promotion is valid for bookings made by July 31, 2025, and applies to travel from July 10 to July 31, 2025. Ethiopian Airlines emphasizes this offer as part of its commitment to enhancing travel convenience for travelers in Vietnam.

Ethiopian Airlines’ post on X confirms that the free baggage promotion applies only to passengers traveling from Hanoi to selected African and Middle Eastern cities. However, it does not specify the exact cities in the post. The offer is positioned as a limited-time incentive to encourage booking during the promotional window and aims to strengthen connectivity between Southeast Asia and the airline’s network across Africa and the Middle East. Business and leisure travelers are urged to take advantage of the policy to maximize value on long-haul flights.

Instagram announcements echo the Facebook and X campaign, reiterating that the promotion is valid for travel within the July 10–31 travel window and that bookings must be completed by July 31, 2025, to qualify. Ethiopian Airlines uses the hashtag #FlyEthiopian to encourage engagement and highlight the stress-free baggage benefit included in the deal. The airline's message targets travelers planning mid-summer departures from Hanoi, suggesting they’ll benefit from added baggage flexibility when flying to international hubs.

According to Wikipedia, Ethiopian Airlines—established in December 1945—is Ethiopia’s government-owned flag carrier and Africa’s largest airline. It operates a fleet of 156 aircraft and flies to 161 passenger destinations and 68 cargo destinations worldwide.
