Emirates and the United States Tennis Association Foundation (USTA Foundation) have collaborated to introduce new tennis courts in East Palo Alto. This initiative is part of Emirates' "Force for Good" program, which aims to rejuvenate community facilities and provide educational opportunities for youth. The airline contributed USD 500,000 towards constructing one of six new courts in the city and supporting programs by East Palo Alto Tennis and Tutoring (EPATT).

This effort is part of a broader five-year commitment by Emirates, pledging USD 2.5 million to refurbish tennis courts across US cities. East Palo Alto follows Brooklyn's De Hostos Playground as the second location benefiting from this partnership.

The unveiling ceremony featured officials from Emirates, USTA Foundation, EPATT, and public representatives from East Palo Alto. Legendary coach Paul Goldstein participated in showcasing the new courts with a match involving local youth engaged with EPATT’s programs.

Emirates holds naming rights to one court, commemorated with a plaque presented to Matthew Jones, Emirates’ VP – USA. The airline's funding will continue supporting similar projects nationwide over the next three years.

As the Official Airline of the US Open since 2012, Emirates operates flights to multiple US cities including Los Angeles and San Francisco. The "Force for Good" initiative also extends its impact globally through partnerships like Wimbledon in the UK.
