Chase offers $50 travel credit to select Sapphire Preferred cardholders

Chase has sent an unexpected benefit to some Sapphire Preferred cardholders who opened their accounts in the past year. The offer, communicated via email on June 23, introduces a one-time $50 credit for purchases made through Chase Travel℠.

The targeted recipients of this offer are those who became Sapphire Preferred cardholders within the last 12 months. If you qualify, the credit is available for use until June 23, 2026. According to the terms, eligible travel bookings must be made through Chase's travel portal and can include flights, hotels, rental cars, and vacation packages. There is no minimum spending requirement or restriction on the type of travel.

This new credit differs from the existing $50 annual hotel credit provided to Sapphire Preferred cardholders. While the annual hotel credit is recurring and limited to prepaid hotel stays booked through Chase Travel, this new offer is a one-time opportunity that applies to any travel booking made via the portal.
