JetBlue Airways is marking its 25th anniversary with a unique loyalty promotion for its TrueBlue program members. The '25 for 25' challenge, launched on June 25, offers long-term elite status to participants as a gesture of appreciation to frequent flyers.

The challenge remains open until the end of 2025. TrueBlue members can earn tiered rewards by flying to various JetBlue destinations, with each airport counting once towards their total. All travel must be on JetBlue-operated flights. "With ‘25 for 25,’ we’re celebrating a milestone and inviting our most loyal customers to join the party in a big way," said Ed Pouthier, Vice President, Loyalty and Personalization at JetBlue.

Participants who fly to 15 destinations will receive 150,000 bonus TrueBlue points. Those reaching 20 destinations will earn 350,000 points. Travelers visiting 25 different airports within the eligibility period will gain Mosaic 1 status for 25 years and receive all bonus points.

Travel must occur between June 25 and December 31, and bookings require an attached valid TrueBlue number before departure. Only flights operated by JetBlue are eligible; Blue Basic fares and partner airline bookings do not count.

JetBlue's recent network expansion includes new destinations such as Madrid in Europe and Traverse City in Michigan, which contribute toward the challenge's goals. The airline has overhauled its loyalty framework since introducing new Mosaic tiers in 2023.

Since its first commercial flight in February 2000, JetBlue has evolved from a low-cost startup into a major US carrier with transatlantic routes and premium services. The TrueBlue program began in 2003 as a simple points-based system without blackout dates or restrictions.

In terms of benefits under Mosaic status: travelers enjoy priority check-in, two free checked bags, complimentary drinks onboard (three per flight), free core seating at booking, complimentary Even More Space seating at check-in, and free same-day changes.
