The IHG One Rewards program offers its Premier Credit Card holders an opportunity to earn free night certificates with a redemption value of up to 60,000 points. This is part of the current welcome offer that grants five such nights after spending $5,000 on purchases within the first three months from account opening.

These certificates can be used at IHG One Rewards properties for nights costing up to 60,000 points. However, they cannot be topped off with additional points from the user's account. The terms state that "multiple free nights can be booked at once so long as free night inventory is available each night of booking." Each certificate must be redeemed and used within 12 months of being issued.

Some notable hotels where these certificates could potentially be used include the InterContinental New York Times Square in Midtown Manhattan's Theater District, the Kimpton Vero Beach Hotel and Spa in Florida, and Hotel Indigo San Diego-Gaslamp Quarter near Petco Park. Other options are Kimpton Surfcomber Hotel in Miami's South Beach and InterContinental Presidente Cancun Resort in Mexico.

International locations include Crowne Plaza Paris - Republique in France and Kimpton De Witt in Amsterdam. In the Maldives, Vignette Collection Noku Maldives offers award nights within this range on non-peak dates.

While travelers have various options for using these certificates, it is advised not to plan specific stays too far ahead due to IHG's dynamic award pricing which varies based on property and timing.

IHG members who prefer earning bonus points over free night certificates might consider other credit card options like the no-annual-fee IHG One Rewards Traveler Credit Card which currently offers 120,000 bonus points after qualifying purchases.
