An Airbus A321 flight recently faced an unexpected detour due to a minor delay in its landing schedule. The aircraft was preparing to land when the approach was aborted after the landing gear had already been deployed. According to reports, the captain informed passengers that the airport denied permission for landing because they missed their latest possible landing time by just 10 seconds.

This incident led to an eight-hour detour for the flight, causing inconvenience for passengers who were on board.
