San Bernardino International Airport (SBD) announced its participation in a career fair at Arroyo Valley High School, aiming to connect students with airport staff and provide information on aviation careers.
According to the SBD Good Neighbor News, representatives from SBD Airport attended the event to share insights about jobs in the aviation industry, STEM opportunities, and the various roles available at a regional airport. The newsletter states that airport staff discussed how students could prepare for aviation careers through education and community involvement. These outreach events are part of SBD’s broader commitment to inspiring local youth and developing a future workforce for the region.
A post by SBD Airport on Facebook indicated that the airport team set up an interactive booth at the fair, complete with aviation-themed resources, handouts, and branded giveaways to engage students. The staff addressed student inquiries about different positions available at the airport and shared information about internships and job-shadowing opportunities. The Facebook post highlights that the booth received enthusiastic participation from students, many of whom expressed interest in pursuing aviation-related careers.
