Air India has announced the progressive resumption of flights to and from the Middle East and Europe as regional airspaces reopen. This move comes with schedule adjustments and a continued focus on safety, according to a post on X.

According to Air India's official post, the airline resumed most operations to and from the Middle East on June 25 as airspaces in the region gradually reopened after recent closures. The post also confirms that flights to and from Europe, which had previously been suspended, are being progressively reinsaid beginning on the same day. Air India adds that flights connecting to the U.S. East Coast and Canada will be restored as soon as possible, encouraging passengers to monitor updates for the latest information.

The same travel advisory from Air India indicates that some flights may continue to experience delays or cancellations due to ongoing impacts from extended reroutings and necessary changes to flight paths. Reuters reports that multiple international airlines have faced operational disruptions and reroutings in the Middle East this year, primarily due to geopolitical tensions and airspace restrictions. Airlines such as Air India have had to rapidly revise flight plans, sometimes resulting in longer journey times or temporary service suspensions. These changes reflect the broader industry priority of maintaining passenger safety above all other considerations during periods of regional instability.

According to Wikipedia, Air India is the flag carrier airline of India, headquartered in New Delhi and Mumbai, with an extensive network covering domestic and international destinations. The airline is recognized for its commitment to safety, customer service, and operational reliability—especially during times of global aviation disruption. It continues adapting its operations to changing international conditions while prioritizing passenger security and staff care.
