Finnair has announced that industrial actions by the Finnish Aviation Union (IAU) will affect operations at Helsinki Airport on July 2, 4, and 7, 2025. Customers are encouraged to change travel dates in advance, according to a post on X.

According to the official X post by Finnair, operations at Helsinki Airport will be impacted by these industrial actions. The airline has not yet specified which flights will be canceled or delayed but strongly advises affected customers to proactively change their travel dates. Finnair promises ongoing updates as the situation develops and is providing flexible options for passengers to modify their bookings without penalty.

Finnair’s official travel updates page indicates that these industrial actions are expected to disrupt ground operations, baggage handling, and flight schedules at Helsinki Airport. The advisory explains that customers booked for July 2, 4, or 7 can reschedule their flights to alternate dates without incurring any change fees.
