According to The Points Guy, airline credit cards like the Avianca LifeMiles Visa are popular due to perks such as discounts on inflight purchases, bonus miles, and exclusive access to airline promotions. These benefits help cardholders save money on routine travel expenses, enhance the onboard experience, and build loyalty with the airline. The ability to earn miles with every purchase and redeem them for flights makes such cards attractive for frequent flyers.

Wikipedia notes that Avianca is Colombia’s national airline and the largest carrier in Central and South America, serving more than 70 destinations across the Americas and Europe from its hub in Bogotá. Recognized for its innovative customer loyalty programs, Avianca has established partnerships with global financial institutions to offer exclusive cardholder benefits. The airline’s LifeMiles program is considered one of Latin America’s leading frequent flyer programs, providing members with various travel rewards, savings, and value-added services.
