Ethiopian Airlines has announced the expansion of its cargo network in Asia with the introduction of a new route to Urumqi, China. This development is expected to bolster the airline's presence in Western China and enhance the cargo corridor between Africa and Asia, facilitating more efficient freight movement and market access for exporters and importers.
Mesfin Tasew, Ethiopian Airlines' Group CEO, commented on the launch: “The launch of our cargo service to Urumqi marks yet another significant step in strengthening our footprint in China and deepening air trade links between Asia and Africa.
