Condor has introduced a new initiative called "Round up for the future," allowing passengers to voluntarily round up their flight booking costs. The additional funds will be directed towards purchasing Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). This move is part of Condor's efforts to promote responsible travel and aligns with customer feedback indicating a desire for more opportunities to invest in SAF.
During the booking process, after entering flight and passenger details, customers can choose to round up their payment by 10, 20, 50, or 100 euros. The rounded-up amount will contribute to buying additional SAF beyond the legally required minimum.
In addition to this initiative, Condor offers other options for climate contributions. Since last year, passengers have been able to make voluntary contributions during or after booking to support SAF and certified climate protection projects. Another option is the Green Fare, available on all routes and booking classes, which allows customers to support climate protection projects based on the CO₂ emissions related to their specific flight class.
