Emirates Aviation University recently celebrated its 35th anniversary, marking a significant milestone in its contributions to the aviation sector both locally and globally. His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, and Chancellor of the university, awarded certificates to the graduates during a ceremony attended by Emirates Group executives, graduates with their families and friends, and faculty members.

HH Sheikh Ahmed highlighted the university's role in nation-building through its impact on the aviation sector. "Emirates Aviation University’s contribution to nation building, particularly in relation to the country’s key aviation sector, is well recognised," he stated. He further emphasized the institution's commitment to education, research, development, and community engagement within aviation. "Our commitment to EAU is unwavering," he added.

This year's graduating class comprised students from over 25 nationalities pursuing various postgraduate and undergraduate degrees in fields such as aviation management, safety, air transport management, aerospace, and aeronautical engineering.

Professor Ahmad Al Ali, Vice-Chancellor of Emirates Aviation University, reflected on this milestone year: “This generation of graduates are stepping into the world of aviation at a pivotal moment of rapid transformation – in the UAE and globally.” He praised their potential impact on sustaining the industry amid workforce shortages.

The graduating cohort included 154 students—24 postgraduates and 130 undergraduates—with some sponsored by Emirates. The university recognized 19 exemplary students across all disciplines for their achievements.

Additionally, more than 650 undergraduate students have participated in internships with the Emirates Group over the past four years. This program offers practical experience integral to their academic studies.
