More than 1,800 Airbus A380 flights are set for European destinations this month, as reported by aviation analytics company Cirium. Six airlines will operate the double-decker aircraft on routes connecting different parts of the world to Europe.

Emirates is leading with the busiest Airbus A380 routes in Europe for July 2025. The airline's Dubai to London Heathrow route ranks first with 186 flights scheduled this month, which is twice the number on the second-busiest route, Dubai to Paris, having 93 flights planned.

The Dubai to London Heathrow Airport route is Emirates’ flagship route, featuring six daily flights operated entirely by its fleet of Airbus A380s. This high-capacity route plays a crucial role in Emirates' network. "Emirates is all about luxury on this route," offering features like first-class private suites and an onboard lounge for premium passengers. Heathrow serves as a gateway to Europe, reinforcing the significance of this connection.

Other airlines also operate A380 flights to London Heathrow. Etihad Airways plans 83 flights from its hub at Zayed International Airport to LHR in July 2025. British Airways connects its LHR hub to Johannesburg using its Airbus A380 fleet, with 62 flights expected this month. Qatar Airways and Singapore Airlines will each operate their Airbus A380s between their hubs in Doha and Singapore Changi respectively and LHR, totaling 62 flights each.

Following Emirates’ DXB to LHR route, other busy A380 routes include Emirates' flights from DXB to Paris Charles de Gaulle and Manchester, each seeing 93 flights in July 2025. However, the Manchester route offers greater capacity with more seats available compared to the Paris service.

The third-busiest Airbus A380 route involves Etihad Airways from AUH to LHR with a total of 84 planned flights for July. The fourth-busiest route is Emirates' DXB to London Gatwick service with a total of 83 scheduled flights this month.

In fifth place are four airlines across six routes each planning for 62 scheduled A380 flights this month: Emirates operating from DXB to Amsterdam, Munich, and Milan; British Airways between Johannesburg and London Heathrow; Qatar Airways from Doha; and Singapore Airlines from Singapore Changi both heading towards LHR.

Currently, eleven airlines operate the Airbus A380 including Emirates, Singapore Airlines, British Airways among others. "Emirates is the world’s largest Airbus A380 operator," owning a fleet of 118 aircraft according to ch-aviation data.

Airbus delivered a total of 251 A380 aircraft before ceasing production in 2021 despite initial plans aiming for more units.
