The Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders can now enroll for a limited-time promotion offering Gold Elite status in the Marriott Bonvoy program. This offer, available from July 1 to September 30, allows eligible cardholders to enjoy Gold Elite status for three months. To extend this status through February 2027, members must complete at least three paid nights on qualifying rates during their trial period.

Cardholders interested in this promotion should visit the benefits dashboard on the Chase website to enroll. The status typically appears in the Marriott account within three business days of enrollment. It is important to note that nights redeemed with free night awards or Marriott points do not qualify for this offer.

This promotion is not applicable for those who already hold Gold Elite or higher status. It is intended for those without any current status or with Silver Elite status only.

In addition to this offer, there are other ways to earn Marriott elite status through various credit cards. For instance, Gold Elite status can be obtained as an ongoing benefit of certain American Express cards like the Marriott Bonvoy Bevy American Express Card and The Platinum Card from American Express.

For those seeking higher tiers, up to 40 elite night credits per year can be earned from one personal and one business Marriott Bonvoy card combined. This allows cardholders to work towards achieving Platinum or Titanium Elite statuses by accumulating additional elite night credits each calendar year.

The Chase Sapphire Reserve also offers a welcome bonus of 100,000 bonus points and a $500 Chase Travel promo credit after spending $5,000 on purchases within the first three months from account opening.
