Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer has opened applications for a scholarship-funded master's program in aeronautical engineering. The program will be hosted at the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (ITA) in São José dos Campos, where Embraer's headquarters are located. The initiative is open to students from nearly 30 different engineering fields, and 45 participants based in Brazil will receive monthly scholarships.
The course spans 18 months and includes classes held both at ITA and Embraer's premises. Participants will benefit from instruction by university staff, Embraer employees, and external consultants. This program aims to accelerate careers in aviation engineering, with a high hiring rate of over 96% for graduates joining Embraer.
Andreza Alberto, VP of People, ESG, and Corporate Communications at Embraer stated: "Developing people is a strategic investment and a hallmark of Embraer’s culture. By the end of the program, the hiring rate of these new talents is high, over 96%. To date, more than 1,600 graduates from the initiative have joined our team, helping us design the future of aviation."
