台北，2025年7月1日 —— 聯邦快遞宣布開通首條連接台灣與南韓的直飛航班。這一新航班旨在提升兩地市場間的服務效率和運能，特別是對高科技產業的貿易發展提供支持。
該航班每週營運七天，連接桃園國際機場轉運中心與仁川國際機場的聯邦快遞操作中心。此舉預期將促進台灣的進出口貿易活動，提高物流運輸的靈活性和可靠性，加強台灣在全球貿易中的角色。
聯邦快遞台灣區總經理蘇智民表示：「開通首條台灣與南韓之間的直飛航班，是我們營運上的一項重要里程碑，展現我們持續強化亞太區域連結的承諾。」他指出，新航班將優化航空網路，協助台灣企業拓展市場並增強其全球競爭力。
近年來，由於科技和電子技術推動，台灣與南韓之間的貿易顯著增長。根據中華民國經濟部資料，南韓已成為台灣主要貿易夥伴之一，其中半導體及電子零組件等高科技產品占主導地位。2025年1月數據顯示，南韓在台灣半導體進口市場占比從2020年的6.4%提升至2024年的14.5%。新航班預計將進一步促進雙邊貿易，加強兩地經濟合作。
這條新航班是聯邦快遞持續優化全球航空網路的一部分。此前，在2024年12月和2025年4月，公司分別開通了增進亞太、印度、歐洲以及新加坡至美國安克拉治之間的新航線，以加強物流運輸能力。
