Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines have introduced "Mileage Plan Unlocked," a program designed to offer Mileage Plan and HawaiianMiles members unique travel experiences. The initiative aims to transform miles into memorable moments by providing access to exclusive events, such as concerts, sports, culinary adventures, and cultural experiences.

The program offers an opportunity for travelers to participate in a special Seattle-to-Seoul journey. Participants will fly on Hawaiian's 787-9 aircraft, featuring island-inspired design with lie-flat seating, personal power outlets, wireless charging capabilities, and direct aisle access. The suites are configured for privacy or can be combined for shared experiences.

Brett Catlin, Vice President of Loyalty, Alliances & Sales at Alaska Airlines, emphasized the significance of the new program: “Mileage Plan Unlocked represents a new chapter in how we connect our members to the world. This program is about more than travel — it’s about creating meaningful, emotionally resonant experiences."

The Seattle-to-Seoul package includes round-trip business class flights from Seattle (SEA) to Incheon (ICN), departing on September 12 and returning on September 18. Travelers will enjoy a luxury city-view hotel stay and partake in private tea ceremonies, guided city tours, art experiences, gourmet meals, and luxury transportation throughout their visit.

The auction for this exclusive experience closes on July 20, 2025. Mileage Plan members can start bidding using their miles now. HawaiianMiles members need to convert their points to Mileage Plan to participate.

Catlin highlighted that this initiative is just the beginning: "With Mileage Plan Unlocked, your miles can take you to the front row, backstage or behind the scenes of the world’s most exciting events."
