Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) has announced that Condor Airlines will relocate its check-in operations from Terminal 2 to the Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT). This information was shared by the airport on X, a social media platform.

According to LAX's post, the change will take effect on July 1. The move is part of LAX's ongoing efforts to optimize terminal usage and enhance the traveler experience across its international facilities.

The official LAX airline list indicates that while Condor currently checks in at Terminal 2, passengers are bused to Terminal B (TBIT) for departures. This established shuttle protocol will be simplified by moving check-in directly to TBIT, reducing inter-terminal transfers for arriving Condor passengers.

The Tom Bradley International Terminal, also known as Terminal B, underwent a $1.9 billion modernization in 2013 and added a $1.73 billion West Gates concourse in May 2021. These upgrades include enhanced lounges, retail spaces, dining options, and shuttle services. Moving Condor's check-in operations there integrates them into LAX’s most advanced international infrastructure.

LAX is owned and operated by Los Angeles World Airports and serves as the primary international airport for Greater Los Angeles. In 2024, it handled over 76 million passengers and 581,000 aircraft operations. It serves as a hub or focus city for numerous major carriers and consistently ranks among the busiest airports in both the United States and globally.
